Through the ongoing self-portrait series: Konose (Know), Balansa (Balance), Roseya (Breathe), Solo (Sun) and Sentimentu (Sensitivity), I explore stillness, loneliness, and the search for identity under the weight of culture, society, faith, and family. Inspired by the colors and stories of my Curaçaoan heritage, I reflect on letting go of imposed expectations and choosing my own values.
